I don’t care much for minimalist-all white-interiors, as I feel like the whiteness and steril-ness of everything drains a lot of my energy, however - I love the chairs and the purple details in the interior above, and the high ceiling of course, but I would have loved some olive green walls…

PS: every night when trying to go to sleep I “build” and “furnish” an entire apartment in my head… I have one in Paris, New York, Shanghai, London and many in Oslo. Anyone else? no one? oh well.

Me and my everlasting love for ink and pencil drawings could not help post these. Check out the websites below for more goodies, I find them all really intriguing, especially the ones with white backgrounds, but they’re all really fun and bizarre, and a little scary maybe, I don’t know. Really beautiful pictures, with a side of reflection. I still have my favorite childhood toy. A pink, fluffy bunny named Kalle, sporting a silver bow tie. I had a dozen more plush toys and teddy bears, legos and barbies, I didn’t care for half of them, and today i hardly remember any of them. I trust they’re all in good homes now, as I donated them a few years back.

Ping’An Yueqing; Peaceful Yueqing

I lived in Yueqing for six months, perhaps the happiest six months of my life. I didn’t speak a word of chinese at the time, and I didn’t think much of what goes on behind the facade in every chinese village. I was taken to countless dinners, with school principals, bank managers, cadres and god knows who else (I didn’t understand what was going on half the time), and I’ve had this picture-perfect memory of this “little village” ever since. I’ve learnt Mandarin since then, and travelled and lived in other chinese cities - but I always managed to keep my Yueqing-picture in pristine condition. I think that will all change after I see this movie, and still, it is important that I do.
